Bartender (Above.)We're told at uni that by taking a photo of someone's fridge, it gives you a real feel for who someone really is... An equivelant almost to a Pen Profile. Whilst looking around for ideas for my self promotion work for uni, i found a blog titled:
Feasting Never Stops.
(Sounds like me, I never stop eating!)
And found Mark Menjovar's work, entitled:
"You Are What You Eat."
"A refrigerator is both a private and a shared space. One person likened the question, "May I photograph the interior of your fridge?" to asking someone to pose nude for the camera. Each fridge is photographed "as is." Nothing added, nothing taken away."
The outcome is amazing, and makes me want to do a fridge diary, photos of our flat fridge to see what we REALLY eat.
